Oil Lamps

Our oil lamps come with a glass insert/wick holder and glass fiber wick. The glass fiber wick serves only to "wick" oil from the reservoir to the flame. It is not burned in this process and should last for the life of the oil lamp. We recommend burning only ultrapure parafin oil. With proper flame adjustment ultrapure oil produces a lovely, soft, smoke-less flame that will enhance the ambience of any area in your home.

The overall height of our long-stemmed oil lamps can vary from 5 inches to 6 1/2 inches. The overall height of our short-stemmed oil lamps can vary from 3 1/2 inches to 4 1/2 inches.

Note: Since this is handmade pottery, you should anticipate that exact color and dimensions will vary slightly from piece to piece depending on the precision of our hands and eyes and the conditions of a particular firing. Hence the piece we ship to you will be similar to, but not exactly like the one displayed here.
